General Fitness

Getting in shape for snowboarding proves to be one of our most popular programs. Rock climbing and circuit training will all be a part of getting in shape for the snowboard season. Dryland programs focus on general fitness, core strength, flexibility, development and strengthening of snowboard specific muscle groups, agility and endurance. Snowboarders wanting to become better riders need to be fit and ready for the start of the season. Dryland training reduces the risk of injury while making snowboarding easier and safer, enabling athletes to reach their performance goals.

For all riders in our Performance programs, participation in Dryland Training is highly recommended.


Indoor Rock climbing sessions at Rock Jungle fitness - 10247 184 Street

  • Tuesdays from 7:30pm-9:00pm

    October 13, 20, 27 November 3, 10 (5 sessions)

General Fitness at Orka Performance - 3663 99 St NW

  • Thursdays from 6pm to 7:30pm

    October 15, 22, 29 November 5, 12 (5 sessions)

Cost: $TBD+gst

All programs are subject to 5% GST. All programs are non-refundable – no exceptions including injuries. ***In order for riders to be able to participate in any of our Dryland Programs, they need to be registered in an On-Snow Program as well***
